Outstanding quality large antique Victorian inlaid floral marquetry burr walnut ormolu mounted credenza having a quality burr walnut breakfront top above a pretty inlaid floral marquetry shaped frieze above three doors, the centre door having an incredible inlaid floral marquetry panel flanked by two burr walnut inlaid floral marquetry doors with mirrors opening to reveal six shelves. The quality ornate ormolu are magnificent, it stands on a burr walnut breakfront base

A Victorian credenza is a decorative sideboard or cabinet originating in the mid-to-late nineteenth century, typically designed for parlour or dining room display. Characterised by intricate wood veneers, central cupboard doors, glass or mirrored side compartments, and elaborate gilt-bronze mounts, these pieces reflect the revivalist tastes of the era.
