The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 23M, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has a stainless steel bezel and case back, and a plated centre. The inside of the case back is signed with the Longines name, together with the case reference 3216 35. At some stage in the watch’s life, the top lugs have been modified, perhaps with the intention of fitting a spring bar, but both lugs are now fixed and suitable for open ended straps.

The lens is in good condition, some white natural light reflection showing in the photos.
The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
