A well proportioned and well constructed chest of drawers of elegant proportions, sitting well upon bracket feet.
A rare to find Chest of drawers, furnished with its original Regency, brass celebratory handles in acknowledgement to the victory at Trafalgar and the memory of Admiral Lord Nelson, a fine thing.
The chest is original and structurally excellent, it shows evidence of some historic repairs to veneer and some minimal cosmetic veneer edge chips but marginal and easy repairs, it has some sun bleached colour to the front which enhances its patination, an otherwise excellent piece in mostly untouched condition. Priced sensibly to reflect. We may end listing and consign to our workshop to address the minor cosmetic issues and relist at higher price, until then available.
