William Daniell RA (1769 -1837) was an English painter and print-maker who specialised in landscape and marine subjects. He travelled around India producing watercolours of the continent, on his return to Britain he travelled around the coast and produced a watercolour collection “A Voyage Round Great Britain” of coastal scenes. His work was exhibited at the Royal Academy and the British Institution , and he became a Royal Academician in 1822 .
