A stunning French Kingsize bed, in the Louis XVI taste, dating to around 1900. In cane and just painted in contrasting Farrow and Ball colours. Decorated with carved acanthus leaves and swags of roses. The side rails have been sympathetically lengthened to accommodate a modern Kingsize mattress, slats to support the mattress can be supplied if required. A beautiful bed, always difficult to source in this size and condition, with no holes to the canework.(There is also a matching pair of bedside tables listed separately on the website ).
