Description

A handsome pine chest of drawers with a warm tone and attractive grain throughout. The piece features a configuration of two short drawers over four long, graduated drawers, all fitted with their original brass handles. A simple moulded top and plinth base give it a classic, understated feel.

Height – 122cm / Width – 121cm / Depth – 53cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition overall, showing expected signs of age. There is surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches throughout, and some areas where the original finish has lifted, resulting in slight unevenness. All drawers run smoothly. There are minor splits and historical repairs to the back corners, as well as a small chip to the front right cornice, but the piece remains solid, sturdy, and sound overall.
