Gents 1950s Nivada wrist watch for J W Benson.

The watch has a 21-jewel hand-winding movement, the Nivada calibre 35, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name of the original retailer, J W Benson.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition. The screw-on case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in good condition (some white reflection showing in the photos).

The signed dial is in lovely condition with dauphine shaped hands, centre seconds hand and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
