Very unusual piece of silk Jajim from North West Persia. Firstly, silk Jajim is quite a rarity, and when you do find them they tend to be plain stripes. This panel, made up of two pieces, has the stripes decorated with small objects from daily life including many rows of animals. Extremely fine and with a beautiful surface. Professionally stretched and mounted, ready to hang on your wall.
