Description

Antique Waltham Traveler full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 23,279,001 which dates it back to 1919. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a patch of light scratching.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, a Birmingham based case manufacturer and supplier to Waltham UK. The case is in very nice condition.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition.

The signed dial looks good to the naked eye with original blued steel hands. If viewed through a jeweller’s loupe, there are a couple of short hairlines but they are very difficult to see with the naked eye.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
