Country House Leather Sofa

1900 - 1920
Description

This wonderful carved mahogany country house leather upholstered sofa which has been hand dyed to a wonderful light honey colour. The back and seat cushions are feathered which makes the sofa extremely comfortable. The cushions are complimented by scroll armrests that are supported by carved mahogany legs, leading down to a hairy claw foot, to the centre of the frame is a carved shell .

The sofa has been upholstered in the traditional manner with a fine quality hand dyed and antiqued leather hyde decorated with an individual solid brass nail studwork finish.

This sofa would compliment a lounge, study dining room, dressing room, library , or even a large kitchen.
