A charming antique Heriz runner, woven circa 1920. The design features a three geometrical medallions on a deep indigo field surrounded by a tangerine border. Vibrant secondary colours of reds, pinks and greens and a very cheerful runner. Slightly wonky (one of the reasons I bought it!) and a little bit of wear which is reflected in the price.
Size: 3.13m x 0.84m (10ft 3in x 2ft 9in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in a few small areas towards the centre (see photos). Tiny bite to corner (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
