It has a beautiful original waxed finish in a medium brown colour with brass handles and has working locks and key
Has a replacement antique brown and gold tooled leather insert which really complements the oak carcass
It has a brass plate with an inscription which shows it was gifted to Samual Langford (1863 to 1927)
a music critic and organist , in appreciation of his service for the church in West Didsbury Manchester
