Delightful Antique Pair of Copper Chocolate Pots with Applied Brass Motifs, with a great patination and lovely wooden-formed handles with brass sections. Each pot with the attached brass mottos. Great colour, couple of small dents otherwise highly attractive and ideal for display.
The Latin phrase ''Nemo mortalium omnibus horis sapit'' translates to ''No mortal is wise at all times'' or ''No man is at all times wise''. It expresses the idea that even the wisest individuals are prone to making mistakes or being foolish on occasion.
