Description

A handsome antique Edwardian writing desk, featuring a rectangular top with a green leather inset writing surface. The drawer arrangement consists of one long drawer, with two short drawers above two further short drawers—all with moulded fronts and fitted with brass backplates and drop handles. The desk is raised on four elegant turned legs, set on castors for ease of movement. Finished in a warm mahogany tone, the piece displays an attractive colour and patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition overall, with signs of age and use. There is surface wear throughout, including age-related marks and scratches. The leather inset shows some staining, and there is minor loss and warping to the top, none of which affect the integrity of the piece.
