Childs and Miniature size examples of the typical wellington chest of drawers are generally much rarer to find than their full size counterparts, particularly those that are constructed from a particularly unusual wood, or that are of much better quality than the norm like this particular example.
It also boasts two hinged pilasters to hold the drawers in place, one of which contains the actual lock and the other which locks into place with a brass catch at the top.
