Description

A good original watercolour painting from the Late Regency period of a Gentleman Officer in Naval attire with high collar tunic and imposing epaulettes.

This is in excellent condition for its age and a well painted artwork from around 1820.

The picture comes with good provenance being from the Selected Contents of Scorborough Lodge from the Estate of Stephen Thornley-Wilson.

The frame measures 37 cms by 28.5 cms
