A rare walnut desk with inset green leather gold tooled writing surface of an unusual design and of the highest quality. It features a drop down flap to extend the desk surface All the stylised solid brass art nouveau style handles are original and it has a working key to the side compartment and drawers The desk is polished to all sides and the rear of the desk has adjustable bookshelves and three drawers A stunning example of the Arts and Crafts design movement we have never had an example to match this. This is in the manner of Liberty but surprisingly has no makers marks
