An 18th century Welsh oak dresser and shelves. The rack with moulded cornice above three graduated shelves and patinated pine backboards. The base with three drawers above a cockbeaded Cupid’s Bow shaped frieze with four turned legs above a potboard, all standing on shaped bracket feet front and sides. Fine original colour and patina and in excellent condition throughout, the base of the dresser is 183cm wide and 87 cm tall.Welsh Circa 1760, from a farmhouse near Dinas Mawddwy, on the Merionethshire/ Montgomeryshire borders.
