These rugs are considered to be ‘dowry’ weavings used by the Turkmen bride on her wedding day.
An attractive old carpet, in reasonable condition, still full of charm and character, and ready for use.

This carpet measures approximately 132.5 cm long including fringes, and 116 cm wide.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This antique carpet is in a reasonable condition, commensurate with its age. There is some wear to the pile, mostly even, with one small spot through the foundation. The reverse has couple of patches, to stabilise and reinforce it further wear. The fringes have some loses. Good even colour, Good regular shape. Overall the rug is still very usable, and remains full of charm. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Clean and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
