Title: "After the Performance"

Medium: Watercolour.

Size: 13'' x 16''. (picture size in inches). Framed size: 18 1/4"x 22 1/2".

Signed and inscribed verso with artist's address New York 7.8.17, no 2. price $300.

Now picture and it's carved gold leaf frame cleaned.

In very good ready to hang condition. Free UK Delivery.

Luis Felipe Usabel y Herandez, born 1876 and died 1937 in Spain, was a painter, illustrator and sculptor. Usabal, trained in the academies of Valencia, Madrid, Paris, Rome and Munich. He worked in Berlin as a contributor to various satirical magazines and was a member of the Association of German Illustrators.

Luis then worked in the United States, where he excelled as a film poster artist and held an anthological exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum in New York in 1932.

In 1936 Usabel was made a member of the Academy of San Carlos. Luis is represented at the Museo de Bellas Artes in Valencia.
