Desired Effect Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1750s.
The frame is in good solid order with tight joints. The back arm is in pine and is removable, held in by screws and removes for upholstery. The back and arm retain the original horse hair fillings and the seat has been recently redone.
As with all our upholstered seating we do offer upholstery should you wish.
