This Victorian brass log bucket jardiniere dates from 1850 in the English Country House style. The round metal piece shows a warm gold colour with silver plate highlights and a hammered finish. Raised repousse relief decoration wraps around the body, featuring a central heraldic crest beneath a crown flanked by supporters, with gadrooning along the lower section and a plinth base fitted with studs. Two lion mask ring handles attach at the sides. Inside, an engraved angel crest decorates the interior base. The piece measures 33 cm high, 36 cm wide, and 36 cm deep. Positioned by a fireplace hearth, the log bucket holds firewood, kindling, or logs.
