The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a 17 jewel stem-winding movement, grade 69, which is working nicely. The movement has the serial number 1758206 which dates it back to 1905.
The watch measures 58mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and was made by the Illinois Watch Case Company.

The original deep glass lens has a moderate amount of surface marking, but acceptable and good to have the original lens.
The enamel dial is signed Illinois Watch Co and it is in nice condition. The watch has blued steel hands which are initially lever set. This means that the screw on bezel is opened, a small lever is pulled out and the hands adjusted accordingly.
The watch comes with a double albert, with each chain measuring 23cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
