The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Limit name.
Hirst Brothers were founded in Oldham, UK in 1912.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and has the logo HB for Hirst Brothers. The case has light surface marking and gentle unevenness to the back but overall it is in nice condition.

The glass lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has its original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There are a couple of very faint hairlines but they are difficult to see with the naked eye.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
