Antique George III Mahogany Chest Of Drawers C1785-95

This is an Antique George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers c1785-95. It is raised on swept feet with canted corners that help date it easily to this period. It is has boxwood and ebony line inlay with arrows and acorns inlaid to the top. The lower frieze is shaped with the escutcheons being Ivory. The lions head mask handles are new reproductions. There is a slight opening on the left hand side which is historical and doesn''t detract. A lovely piece.
