This is a fine quality antique English Victorian harbour painting, with boats, fishermen and their families, signed by Edward Brown RBA, circa 1900, in excellent condition. He captures the mood in muted colours, especially the wet sand and the light reflecting on the sea on the horizon. The watercolour is pleasing to view and a subject that one would not tire of viewing, as the more one looks, the more detail you spot.
