Antique Edwardian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

A neatly proportioned antique Edwardian mahogany chest of drawers, showcasing both elegance and practicality. The chest features a moulded cornice top with a gallery at the back, adding a refined touch to its design. Below, an arrangement of two short drawers over two long drawers offers ample storage, with each drawer fitted with drop brass handles and bordered by neat inlay. The chest is raised on a plinth base. A lovely example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition overall, with some signs of age evident throughout. There is surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches across the piece. Marks are present on the surface top, as pictured, along with some light fading to the top caused by sun exposure. All these imperfections are clearly shown in the photos and contribute to the authentic character of this Edwardian mahogany chest of drawers.
