An exceptionally fine pair of early 17th Century Oak carved Flemish Caryatid and Atlas. Having wonderfully detailed craving throughout depicting a male and female figure with scrolled capitals having winged angels below, swags of fruit, scrolls and strap work to the background. Sitting on a concave plinth with carved acanthus leaf work.
Beautiful examples showcasing the talent of the highly skilled craftsman that produced them.
