Antique Georgian Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

Description

An antique Georgian mahogany bowfront chest of drawers with charmingly neat proportions. The chest features a classic bowfront design with three long, graduated drawers, each fitted with decorative embossed brass backplates and drop handles. It is raised on out-swept bracket feet and a shaped apron. Sunlight has mellowed the mahogany, giving the front a beautifully faded, softer tone that contrasts with the richer mahogany tones on the sides.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition with expected signs of age. Surface wear is present, including age-related marks and scratches throughout the piece. The front and top exhibit significant fading from sunlight (pictured), while the sides retain their original rich mahogany tones, resulting in uneven colouration.
