This is an attractive antique hand woven woollen Heriz runner carpet dating from around 1900. The carpet has an unusual angular double lozenge design with stylised floral motifs in shades of rich red and warm ivory, olive and indigo. It is in good order and has a nice even pile and good selvedges. Cleaned and ready for use. The carpet is a good size and looks great down, measuring 251 cms by 116 cms.
