Framed landscape by the artist Raoul Labarre (1902 - 1987). The oil on canvas shows a view over fields of a city. It is signed mounted in a simple gilt slip frame.

Raoul Labarre was well known for his village scenes, landscapes, interiors and still life paintings. He has works in the Museum de Gand, Tornai an Ixelles. He has exhibited the Palais des Beaux Arts, Brussels and was a member of the Academies de Saint-Gilles and Molenbeck-Saint Jean.

Raoul Labarre is listed in Piron and has achieved high results at auction.
