A lovely little antique Bidjar kilim, woven circa 1910. The kilim features a diamond medallion on a terracotta field of stylised flowers framed by a saffron border. Finely woven with some fabulous secondary colours including greens and pinks.
Size: 1.57m x 1.07m (5ft 2in x 3ft 6in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Old (and slightly crude) repair to the field (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
