A Pitch Pine Library Table in the Gothic Revival Taste, C.1880

Description

Good quality and possibly architect designed, that could work as a large kitchen table

Fitted with a drawer to each end and crisply cast brass handles, (later cross-head screws)

The top is inset with a later vinyl writing surface

Structurally rock solid, slight shrinkage gap between the boards on top, see image
