These charming frames are becoming increasingly rare to find. The rounded corners on the head end panel are lovely and create a nice shape and contrast to the angular, diamond shaped ironwork within the panel. Good detail in the decorative central casting, and across the clamps. Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frames have been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene�s Pompeian Ash, with a dark wax over to preserve and shine. The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base.
