The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Unitas stem-winding movement which is working well...
The movement is stamped Unitas W Co, 17 jewels, 4 adjustments.

The watch measures 44mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop so smaller than a standard 50mm pocket watch but bigger than a lady's fob watch. The watch has a gold filled case which is the Fortune model made by the American Watch Case Company. The case has a screw on front and back. The case has light surface marking and some mild bruising to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece. The inside of the case back has some surface scratches.

The glass lens is in nice condition (some reflection showing in the photos).
The white enamel dial is in nice condition with original blued steel hands.
The watch comes with a single chain, 29cm long.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
