A Welsh oak dresser base from the early 18th century of unusual design having a raised ledge with three spice drawers beneath which are a flight of the more desirable four drawers, as opposed to a central false door, flanked by two cupboard doors. The twin panelled sides all in solid oak with the original backboards also in oak making this a substantial item. Wonderful colour and patina. Excellent condition. Measures 73"w x 35"h ( 31.5"h exc ledge) x 24"d
