An Afghan, Bokhara Turkmen Tekke style handwoven rug, approximately 6''2'' x 3''5'', circa 1930. This rug has a red coloured field with two columns of four quartered tekke guls, enclosed by multiple repeating red coloured borders. A hand knotted rug, with fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations. Label on the reverse.
Charming vintage rug, well worn but still full of life and ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 188 cm long including fringes, and 104.5 cm wide.
Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in a reasonably good condition, commensurate with its age. Odd minor small marks and blemishes. There is a little wear to the pile. Minor losses to the fringes and ends slightly fraying. The rug has been vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Ready to use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
