Set Of Four Regency Hunting Prints In Burr Yew Frames

£275    $362    €328
A decorative set of four Regency period hunting prints in the original burr yew frames. The prints are from a series titled ‘Moving Accidents by Flood and Field’ with each having an individual title. The engraver of the prints was Newton Smith Fielding after works by F.C.Turner. The prints all have a good bright colour but do have old restoration to tears. The prints are all mounted in the original burr yew frames these have losses and repairs, mainly to the edges. I do feel that the frames have been varnished at some point. The set has a great country house look and enormous decorative appeal. C.1830.

Overall sizes in inches, including frames, each: 22 by 19 ¼
