A Georgian mahogany secretaire chest-on-chest from around 1800. This elegant piece features a two-part design: an upper chest with five drawers, including two smaller top drawers, and a lower chest with two drawers and a hidden desk. The drawers are adorned with brass handles and keyholes, typical of the period. A notable feature is the fold-down secretaire drawer in the middle section, which opens to reveal a fitted interior with small compartments and pigeonholes for organising documents and writing materials.
