The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, stamped Made in England, which is working nicely.
The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.
One of the lugs has been professionally re-attached at some stage in its life, and it is nice and secure. The case is in good condition.

The back of the watch has a long service inscription from The Austin Motor Company, awarded in the year of the company’s Golden Jubilee.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial has darkened a little with age but is in good condition with original hands, a sunken subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a vintage presentation box from a Worcestershire jeweller, so near to where the watch was made.
