This is a very fine quality large mid-19th-century German Berlin Wool Work Tapestry depicting a group of affluent Gentlemen seated around a large table.
The piece dates to circa 1860 and it is mounted within its original two-tone painted and gilt moulded frame, retaining the original 19th-century glass protective panel.
Indeed, it is a highly impressive piece with bags of antique charm.
