A gilt framed watercolour (guache?) painting, "Ruins by the River". The painting depicts three silhouetted figures walking along a riverside path. The river tumbles over rocks in a small waterfall to the right. Up on the hill in the background are some (church?) ruins and to the left in the far background the edge of a village.

Unsigned - British School.

Condition: Recently re-framed. Generally excellent. Colours bright and with no signs of fogging, wear or damage. Ready to Hang

Dimensions: Height: 17 inches Width: 19 inches (43.2 x 48.3 cm).

Dated: Style 19th century - Exact date unknown without opening up the frame.
