Description

Good Looking Quality Antique Victorian Period Heavy-Gauge Solid Copper Coal Scuttle Bucket ~ Embossed Coat of Arms ~ Helmet Shape ~ Castellated Seam

Condition: Dimpling, small dents and scratches from age and use, mainly to the lower half of the body and lip area. No holes or splits. The handle stays upright but is on the looser side - still completely secure but doesn't stay upright as firmly as it probably once did. Small depression to the embossed detail (knight's head). The base is slightly concave, so it doesn't sit completely flat. All aspects are sound and secure. It has been cleaned and lightly polished externally and still retains a soft and attractive patina.

Measurements:

Height overall (excluding handle): 24cm

Height to top of handle: 37cm

External diameter of base: 28cm

Weight: 2.27kg
