Description

An antique West Persian Mahal carpet with unusual allover design woven free hand style, in natural shades on a gingery terracotta ground flanked by fat navy borders. Good pile over the majority of the piece, just slight wear in place. A solid, decorative item with little or no restoration, deep cleaned and floor ready. The inclusion of a solitary rider on horseback is both whimsical and beautiful! Circa 1910.
