''My Sentiments are the same as the Farrier Sergeants dog’, Christmas card, circa 1945, signed and inscribed ‘Lucy & Snaff, Try this on with Dude next year’ in pencil, printed and hand coloured, in a later mount and a later ebonised frame.
In his later years, Snaffles turned his hand to Christmas and Greetings cards; some reminiscent of his earlier print subjects, all typically characterful, and with a certain charm.
