WEST ANATOLIA (TURKEY).
 
BEAUTIFUL CENTRAL PALE TURQUOISE GROUND COLOUR WITH TWIN PILLARS OF WISDOM,PAIR OF COFFEE POTS AND A FLOATING FLORAL AND GEOMETRIC DEVICE BELOW THE PRAYER NICHE.
 
OTHER SOFT COLOURS INCLUDE A PALE YELLOW MAIN BORDER,PALE PINK AND RUSSET TONES.(THE COLOURS ARE LIGHTER THAN IMAGED AS TOOK IN THE SUN)
 
THIS IS AN EXEMPLARY EXAMPLE OF EARLY 20TH CENTURY TURKISH WEAVING.
 
IN FINE CONDITION,BOTH ENDS HAVE BEEN BLANKET STITCHED,ALL IMAGED. HAND WASHED AND DE-DUSTED.
 
SIZE IS 5 FOOT 11 INCHES BY 4 FOOT 2 INCHES. 180CM X 128CM. FINE WOOL PILE HAND KNOTTED ONTO FINE COTTON FOUNDATIONS. SIZE EXCLUDING THE MINOR FRINGES BOTH ENDS.
