Early 19th century birch biedermeier vanity dressing cabinet circa 1830.

Stunning piece of biedermeier period furniture made in karelian birch.

Comprising of two main parts, although the mirror and supports are removable too.

Decorative tilting mirror supported by two turned columns, below which are six shaped front drawers, two with turned knobs.

Concave shaped bottom section with single drawer and a double door cupboard containing a single shelf.

Beautiful use of karelian birch timbers with striking grain.

Recently fully restored and hand polished in our workshop.  minor restorations to veneer and age splits, minor plate loss to mirror.
