This 1890 antique Ziegler wool and cotton carpet displays a square format measuring 244 cm high and 239 cm wide. The hand-knotted textile exhibits a terracotta red field filled with intricate floral palmettes in green, gold, taupe, ivory, and pale yellow, set within a grass green multi-tiered decorative border and finished with original ends alongside one expert side repair.
