Art Deco sculpture emerged during the 1920s and 1930s, characterised by sleek lines, stylised forms, and a celebration of modernity, motion, and glamour.

These pieces were typically crafted using the lost-wax casting method, often combining cast bronze with bases made from marble, onyx, or carved wood.

Authenticity is determined by inspecting the foundry marks, artist signatures, casting quality, natural patination, and the weight and composition of the metal.

Position the sculpture on a prominent surface such as a mantelpiece, sideboard, or dedicated display plinth to allow its sculptural form to serve as a focal point.

Dust gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth and avoid chemical cleaners, occasionally applying a microcrystalline wax to protect the metal patina.
