A Victorian solid oak pedestal desk of excellent quality.
 
c1890.
 
The top has a moulded edge with a newly fitted inset high quality green leather gold tooled writing surface, so is completely unused with an antique finish to compliment the desk.
 
The pedestals have four graduating drawers each, flanking a long central single drawer, so nine drawers in total.
 
The drawers are of dove-tail construction and oak lined, showing excellent quality.
 
Retaining the original brass handles, original locks and brass escutcheons.
 
Standing on a plinth base with castors.
 
In excellent antique condition. The leather is newly fitted so is unused.
 
Very solid, sturdy and strong.
 
The desk can be dismantled to three sections.
